Receiving e-mail
Every account has an address of its own. The attachments of messages sent to it arrive in the inbox.
Step by step
- Open “Settings” › “Receiving e-mail”. Under “Addresses for receiving e-mail” is the “Inbox” address, which belongs to this account alone.
- Choose “Copy” and give the address to your suppliers, or forward the invoices you receive by e-mail to it.
- The attachments of received messages show under “Expenses” › “Inbox” with the source “By e-mail”. The same file types and sizes are taken as for an upload.
- For bank notifications, each bank account has an address of its own. Get it under “Settings” › “Bank and matching” with “Get the address” and enter it in your internet banking.
Good to know
Receiving e-mail is switched on by the service’s operator once the domain for received messages is set up. Until then the page says “Receiving e-mail is not on yet” and shows no address.
An archived account gets no address. The role Read only does not see this part of the settings.
