Running tax calculation and limits
What this year costs you in tax and insurance, and how far you are from the VAT registration limit and from your flat tax band’s limit.
Step by step
- Open “Taxes”. The “Overview” shows the cards that fit your tax regime.
- With flat-rate expenses, “Tax and insurance for the year” estimates the year from the invoices paid, without VAT: the income, the flat-rate expenses, the profit and, for social insurance, health insurance and income tax, the amount for the year, the advances paid and what is left to pay.
- On the flat tax the card tells what you pay a month and for the year. With tax records or accounting the calculation is not offered.
- “Flat tax band” sets this year’s income against your band’s limit, warns you as you near it, and tells whether the flat tax or flat-rate expenses cost less.
- “VAT registration turnover” follows a non-payer’s turnover in the Czech Republic this calendar year, by taxable supply date, and shows what is left to the limit.
- When an invoice you are writing would take the turnover over the limit, the form says so before you issue it, and tells you from when you are a VAT payer.
- Once the limit is crossed, a to-do with the deadline for the VAT registration appears under “To-dos”, and the turnover card shows the same deadline.
Good to know
Advances, deductions and credits come from “Settings” › “Taxes and accounting”. The account’s overview has a card with your contributions too.
Proformas, OSS and reverse-charge documents do not count towards the turnover.
