Stock moves
Moves in and out by hand, from invoices and from expenses, month by month.
Step by step
- Open a stock item and choose “Move in” or “Move out”.
- In the dialog “Stock move”, check the direction, the date and the quantity. A move in starts with the purchase price, a move out with the sale price; you can overwrite both. Add a note if you like and choose “Save”.
- The item’s detail shows its state, the average purchase price, the stock value, the margin and, under “Moves”, every move with a link to its invoice or expense.
- For one move in or out of several items at once, open “Stock” › “Moves” and choose “Move several items”. Add the items and choose “Record the moves”.
- Under “Moves”, pick the month and filter by direction and source: by hand, sales documents, expenses, opening stock or stock counts.
Good to know
An archived item takes no moves until you restore it from the archive.
